Context
Keel forked turnkey-netinfo and turnkey-conffile so they install from Debian plus Keel alone. Lintian, which runs in their package workflow as a report, flags two errors in each. Those two repositories have issues turned off, so the work is tracked here.

E: turnkey-netinfo: extended-description-is-empty
E: turnkey-netinfo: copyright-not-using-common-license-for-gpl
E: turnkey-conffile: extended-description-is-empty
E: turnkey-conffile: copyright-not-using-common-license-for-gpl

What to do
For each of https://github.com/Keel-Linux/turnkey-netinfo and https://github.com/Keel-Linux/turnkey-conffile (default branch keel/trixie):

  1. In debian/control, add a long description under Description: (one to three indented lines saying what the library does; read the code to find out).
  2. In debian/copyright, replace the pasted GPL text with a pointer to /usr/share/common-licenses/GPL-3 (or the version the file names). Keep the copyright holders exactly as they are.
  3. Leave the version and debian/changelog alone; a maintainer adds the entry when the package is next published.
  4. Open one pull request per repository and link it here.

Done when
Both pull requests are open, their package workflow is green, and the lintian report no longer lists these two tags.
