Two settings came across with the copied test harness.

The workflow passed roles: primary replica to the appliance gate, which boots two containers and configures one as a replica of the other. This layer has no database, so the second container cost a minute of runner time per pull request and proved nothing.

The coverage script's include pattern still named the PostgreSQL library and its verification hook, which do not exist here, so it measured one file while claiming three.

Neither was a defect in what the layer does, which is exactly why the green boot test hid them.

Test plan

The gate now boots one container, and the boot test is unchanged.
Coverage measured after the change and reported in the run.
