Subject: Re: ITP: pdf2image -- Python library to convert PDF files to images
Hello Risha,
Are you still working on pdf2image? If so, I would be glad to help; if not, I could take the ITP over, in agreement with you.
I maintain pdf2image 1.17.0 for Debian 13 in the archive of Keel Linux, a Debian-based distribution. The packaging starts from Mattia's work on salsa.debian.org/mattia/pdf2image, keeping its history, and adds a DEP-5 copyright file and an autopkgtest that converts a Pillow-generated PDF back through poppler-utils (the PyPI sdist ships no tests). It builds in a clean chroot with lintian clean at warning level and autopkgtest passing:

It could move to the Debian Python Team on Salsa as it is, after review. I am not a Debian Developer, so an upload would need a sponsor.
Regards,
Marcos Mendez
